Compared to domestic counterparts in the full line of LED chip manufacturing, packaging and application, JEGO is always focusing on our own development strategic. At the beginning we have make our target and concentrate on the illumination application file of LED industry. We focus on the R&D of high power and high brightness semiconductor illumination. For high power LED street light, we are the first and only one to obtain the <National energy-saving product> certification and put the LED street light into die-casting mass production.

◆ Production capability

Shenzhen SIAT & JEGO is a high-tech pioneer established by the Chinese Academy of Science and Beijing JEGO. With over 30 millions of registered capital, our production facility covers more than three thousand square meters with more than one thousand staff members and among them more than 40 percent are engineers. Our production base in Foshan is a large semi-conductor illumination products center integrating research, design, and production. We have die casting machine with 1250-ton capability, advanced CNC precise machines, and dozens of production lines of LED illumination apparatus. Our annual production capability could be up to 300,000 lamps.

◆ Creative solution

In 2009, together with the Chinese Academy of Science, Shenzhen Institution of Advance Technology and Shenzhen LED Industry Association, Shenzhen SIAT & JEGO, a leading company in LED illumination with years of experience in the industry, has drafted <The Solution Of City Semi-conductor Illumination And Energy-Saving Project> and made a success.

The core of the solution is that the government could be involved in city LED illumination project in standardized, industrialized, and large-scale fashion at almost zero upfront cost. Next, we will discuss the three key parts of the solution:

First, we design citywide energy consumption reduction plan in illumination using advanced technology. We use high-end and rapid laser scanning equipment provided by the Chinese Academy of Science to collect data on a city’s current illumination consumption level. Based on the data collected, we use Shuguang Super Computer System to analyze and report the current efficiency level of illumination consumption. We, then design and propose a comprehensive plan based on scientific analysis to replace the city’s illumination with high power LED light source.

Secondly, in compliance with the national and industrial standards, Shenzhen SIAT & JEGO provides LED lights with not only reliability and low price but also excellent after sales service. The quality of our product is assessed and guaranteed by commercial insurance company that gives assurance to government about our quality and to banks about return on investment monthly from the electricity costs saving by LED lights in the period of contract.

Last but not least, this plan will reduce the amount of risk for all parties involved in a project and effectively solve the problem of budget constraint. Lacking capital has been a main impediment to the implementation of more energy-efficient LED illumination. Investment in these project can help expand the effect of demonstration project, draw more interested parties into the buyer credit system, encouraging local government agency managing street lights to sign special-purpose loan for energy-saving with bank, or implement discount service for government purchasing contract.  As a result, this plan will help solve the funding difficulties faced by LED street lights producers and providing a win-win solution to the country, LED producers, insurance company and banks

This solution allow local government to implement new street light project, replacing traditional street lights with LED street lights based on their original budget with no extra investment needed and reducing expenditure on power supply equipment and cables as well as cutting energy consumption by 70 percent.

◆ R&D capability

JEGO integrates three major research centers including Chinese Academy of Science, Irvine (UCI) Optoelectronic Packaging and Materials Laboratory in University of California and Beijing Jiegao OE-tech research institute. Besides of advance equipments, JEGO has stronger technical support for continual technical innovation.
