Since established in 2003, Beijing Jiegao has established its own OE-tech R&D institute in Zhaoyang Beijing Specializing in R&D of optoelectronics, photovoltaic, optical and production. This institute has Optoelectronics, photovoltaic, optics labs and Equipped with a full set of LED optical light testing equipments. It covers 6,000 square meters.

Beijing Jiegao makes strategic cooperation with Chinese Academy of Science, Shenzhen Institution of Advance Technology on LED production, research, education and established the semiconductor illumination technology R&D center by both parties in Shenzhen in July,2009 and the joint venture Shenzhen SIAT & JEGO. This R&D center includes PV technology research institute, optical technology institute, photovoltaic lab, CAE laboratory, materials laboratory, industrial processing laboratories, high-performance computing labs and other high-tech R&D institutions.

We have 200 professional engineers, among them 30 people with doctor degree and 150 people with master degree. They are respective responsible for LED white light technology, computer control technology, the semiconductor thin-film solar technology and other researching fields. JEGO has formed a complete researching structure from LED light source packaging to illumination products.

◆ Close co-operation

JEGO employs the professor team of University of California as our technical consultant in the field of LED white light and we also make strategic cooperation with famous LED manufacturers in the upstream industry like CREE, OSRAM to provide the best LED light source.

Besides, JEGO make technical cooperation with China Illumination Society, Chinese Academy of Science, Peking University, Tshinghua University and Beijing Optoelectronics and Optical communication Association etc. In the meantime, We are the Vice president of the Shenzhen LED Industry Association, which enable us to get the latest information about LED industry.

◆ Advance equipments

JEGO has the most advance optical research equipments, for some we share with ChineseAcademy of Science and for the others we buy by ourselves. In the performance of our <The Solution Of City Semi-conductor Illumination And Energy-Saving Project>, we are the first one who uses high-end and rapid laser scanning equipment provided by the ChineseAcademy of Science to collect data on a city’s current illumination consumption level. Based on the data collected, we use Shuguang Super Computer System to analyze and report the current efficiency level of illumination consumption. We, then design and propose a comprehensive plan based on scientific analysis to replace the city’s illumination with high power LED light source.

To control the quality before delivery, our manufacturing base is also equipped with most advance quality testing machines like LED photometer and chroma testing system , LED optical match performance testing system, LED chip precision light intensity testing system, chromatic light analysis/automatic analyzing and testing system of LED electrical properties. These advance machines enable us to finish 0.03 linear spectrum & luminous flux testing in dynamic range from 0.11mm to 2001mm. As a result, we could finish the luminosity and chroma parameter testing, light intensity distribution (optical match curve) testing, and quality assessment and control of all electrical light illuminators, including LED module, LED single, LED luminaries, regular fluorescent lamps and energy-saving lamps and so on

◆ Achievements

JEGO has been developing our patent portfolio gradually and strategically. Up till now we have obtained eleven patents of innovation and utility model. we have made a breakthrough on one of three globally recognized technical problems of LED light, the lighting strike and surge problem. We have formed a strong record of intellectual property.

During recent seven years, we have developed series of independent innovation and high-tech products like high power LED street light, solar LED lights, solar-wind LED lights, LED tunnel light, LED flood light, LED fluorescent light, LED bulb, LED spot light etc. We have been approved by the ISO9001 international quality control system and get the international standard certification such as CE certification in European Union, ROHS and so on, which assures that our products quality corresponding to the international standard and requirements of environment friendly.

Shenzhen SIAT & JEGO is a high technology enterprise by national standard.
